Something that made me smile

I always thought that first impressions truely counted, and that if you get off on the wrong foot with someone you're never going to be amazingly close to them.

Meeting my flatmate Curly Becky proved me wrong on an atomic scale.

Our strong personalities clashed at first but when we gave eachother a chance we never looked back. She is one of the best people I've met at university, as are quite a few of my flatmates and I love them very much, even if some of them do nick my seasoning and utensils without my prior knowledge.

Here's something that Curly wrote on my facebook that I wanted to remember so thought I'd put it on a blog :]

"I think I might be going a bit deep ... i miss the smell of bleach , the constant gossip, the 100's of closer magazines in your room, the slightly hidden look of 'oh dear' on your face everytime you enter my room!, the lack of toilet roll and the need to knock on doors with my trousers practically round my ankles, the shall we have pancakes or yorkshire debate, the ice tray usage, the hugs, the constant damning down of men, the need to show them ruffians it 'Rebecca Style', the food stuck to my foot in the kitchen cos i'm not wearing slippers, the amount of noodles you eat, the amount of noodles you leave and think you'll eat the next day!, the beckiness of my life!"

Can't wait to get back home and go to St Albans now!
