User Friendly

Aiming to make the website clearer, and easier to use by adding text rollovers and navigation buttons through out the site, whilst adding poetry and information from my research surveys i have been accumulating during the course of this project.

Text rollovers have proved simple, and in order to make sure that all browsers can read my text rollovers i have made sure both TITLE and ALT information reads the same. This means that not only are the image mapped clearly seperated, but visually disabled people will be able to also view my site.

I have created the main logo of the site by creating an image in photoshop and using a font from Microsoft Word. The font is large and elegant, depicting the classy feel i wish to hold throughout my site. The aim is open a window in to women's insecurities about aging, and this logo helped show this. I want viewers to see that this is an exploration of psyche, and despite there being funny quotes from women being honest, it is not poking fun at women or their inner feelings of insecurity.

The logo is now clickable as a constant link back to the home page but i will also create a home button for the bottom right hand side of the page. This is because i tested my website by sending the link to my sister who didnt realise that the logo was clickable, and requested a "home" button. Although more computer minded viewers may assume the logo will take the site back to the home and realise it is a link, the aim of the project is to make something PUBLIC. Therefore my site must be accessible and easy to use by all kinds of people, regardless of their experience with websites.
