Progress

http://www.herchangingface.co.uk/ is now up and running. Had some tedious technical problems where Dreaweaver saved in to the wrong folder on my host server. However by downloading a simle FTP program i have transferred the files back in to the correct public.html folder so it is working successfully now.

I have done a lot over the past week so will list them out here:

Photos: took my own pictures using my sister and brother in law, have edited them and now have a few more interesting pictures of my own on the website. will take more photos as are needed.

Poems from others have been sent to me so i have now put them in to my piece.

General defining of the website and its aim: the index page now has a few different pictures on there. I realised the pictures were a little too broad before so i have replaced the picture of a group of friends and the painting of young children for my own pictures of women looking in the mirror and appearing insecure about their weight. My aim is now to have the mirrow showing, at first glance, a montage of photos of a young woman's life but upon closer inspection each picture is more thought provoking and when clicked upon takes you to a relevant piece of prose, poetry or media based experimental work.

Each page now fits inside a template so that the whole website appears to flow together. All backgrounds are black, and text white. i will be creating a new header for her changing name very soon and uploading.
